Cheltenham & Cotswold Dental opened in January 2020 and offers a multi-disciplinary specialist and cosmetic dental practice. Its aim is to build on the success of the previous dental practice housed there. The newly created dentist in Cheltenham is conveniently situated with plenty of parking for patients. The aim of the practice is to provide a team of specialists offering advanced dental treatments with the most up to date digital technology all under one roof.
The practice is run jointly by best friends Imran Nasser and Samantha Stewart. They have been friends for two decades and their strong bond underpins the trust, co-operation, and shared ethos, which is so apparent within the dental practice. This vision is also reflected throughout the team of specialists, dentists, hygienists, dental nurses, and administration team, who all pride themselves on providing excellence and an outstanding patient journey.

Orthodontics
The three clinicians involved in teeth straightening (orthodontics) at the practice are all highly qualified specialist orthodontists. This means patients are in expert hands as the team has received additional training to deliver outstanding results, using all the available techniques and orthodontic appliances, which we explore further below:-
Invisalign – This innovative tooth straightening option transforms your smile comfortably and discreetly. A series of virtually invisible custom-made aligners are made for the patient. These are changed every few weeks and each Invisalign aligner gently moves the teeth into the desired position. With modern 3D technology, it is possible for the patient to see how their teeth will look in the final stage before treatment even begins. The aligners need to be worn for 20-22 hours per day but can be removed for cleaning teeth, eating, and drinking.
Gold Braces – Iconix TM pads are stuck to the teeth. These are contoured for maximum comfort and are smaller than standard brackets. The light gold colour is aesthetically pleasing, and the wires blend discreetly.
Clear Braces – these are less noticeable than metal brackets as it uses tooth-coloured ceramic or plastic brackets and tooth-coloured wires.
Metal Braces – these use small metal brackets, which are stuck on the front surface of the teeth. A metal wire is passed through each bracket and held in place by a little elastic. The patient can choose different colours for the elastic, which is great for children.
Incognito/Lingual Braces – this is the latest advancement in orthodontics and its gold brackets are fitted to the inside surface of your teeth, rather than the outer surface, which makes them virtually invisible. The treatment results are reliable and very effective.
Removable Braces – these are for short treatments of around six months, they are clipped onto the back teeth and are removed only for cleaning, eating, and contact sports.
Functional Braces – these are used in children who are still growing. There are two parts to the brace, one for the upper and one for the lower. They are worn for around 22 hours per day and are only removed for cleaning, eating and contact sports.
